2. Data we process

The data you give us when you write to us or hire us: name, identity document, contact details and the information about your case or your company needed to provide the service.

3. Purposes

• Answering your inquiries and quote requests.
• Providing the service hired, including verification of the identity of the person hiring it.
• Invoicing and payment management.

4. International data transfers

When you request or contract services from the Business Solutions section, the personal data needed to provide them (contact details, information about your company and the documents you share with us) may be processed by Efficient AI Algorithms in the United States, a country that has not been declared to provide an adequate level of protection by Colombia’s Superintendence of Industry and Commerce. We therefore request your express and informed authorization, which you grant by checking the box on the form or by signing the proposal. Efficient AI Algorithms applies security measures equivalent to those described in this policy, uses artificial intelligence tools under agreements that prevent your data from being used to train third-party models, and keeps the information only for the duration of the service and the applicable legal period. You may revoke this authorization by writing to info@detectivesmedellin.com or contact@algorithmsdata.io.

5. Rights of the data subject

As the data subject you may:

• Know, update and correct your personal data.
• Request proof of the authorization granted.
• Be informed of how your data has been used.
• File complaints with Colombia’s Superintendence of Industry and Commerce.
• Revoke the authorization or request the deletion of your data when applicable.
• Access your data free of charge.

6. Inquiries and complaints

You may exercise your rights by writing to the contact email above, with your name, identity document, a description of your request and a way to reply to you. Inquiries are answered within a maximum of ten (10) business days and complaints within a maximum of fifteen (15) business days, extendable under the terms of Law 1581 of 2012.

7. Retention

The evidence and data of each case are kept for two months after it closes, so that you can recover them if you resume the case, and are then deleted according to our protocols. You may ask for them to be deleted earlier.

8. Confidentiality

All the information you give us and all the information we obtain is confidential. Only a court order obliges us to share information.
